Keeping Busy

This Sparked Me!

In the evenings after dinner I like to do a craft to keep my hands busy. Right now I'm crocheting an afghan for my husband for Christmas. I find that if I'm just sitting there while the TV is on - trying to get interested in whatever hubby might be watching, I get bored and gravitate towards the pantry, even if I'm not hungry. When I focus on something else, the pantry doesn't enter my mind.

I agree. If I'm at least doing suduko or crocheting, my mind is not on my stomach while I'm sitting down!

I do the same thing by knitting or crochet each and every night. It sure helps a lot.
