  • I too am terrible at house cleaning. I always say my home is clean enought to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy. My DH is pack rat and I am not much better. I just pach it better where his is all over. But my DD is MRS. Clean so I know I taught her well now all I have to do is re-learn the same lessons I taught her! LOL - by FVHORVATH
  • I have a horrible time keeping up on things!!! I feel as though my house is always a disaster. I found a website called and she has been a life saver. She does the same thing sets up a schedule you can follow. She separates your house into zones and each day you have part of that zone to clean. I just log on and print out my chores for the day and then I am done. Eventually the house is clean and kept up on.
I just have to be faithful in following her :) - by STFY31
  • I get behind sometimes and then I get discouraged. Then I get mad!!! That's when I get it in gear ... I turn on some fast Zydeco music and clean with the beat! And here's the key: Clean the WORST thing FIRST, so you can see RESULTS! That's what gets me jump-started to get to work cleaning. Then I yell to my DH over the music, "Help! I'm cleaning and I can't stop!!!" This doesn't happen regularly, but when it does, it's a lot of fun! emoticon - by BEVERLEAF
  • Good strategy for cleaning one area or room at a time! Nothing like a nice clean, and clean smelling home environment! Good luck, hope you make a good headway and with happiness. - by AZTLAN777
