Driving And Doing Abdominal Exercises (at The Same Time)

When I'm at a red light, I will hold in (contract) my abdominal muscles while breathing normally. After several lights, you really feel like you got in mini-ab work-out. I live 30 minutes from work, so that's a lot of crunching!

  • I do this , kegels and leg exercises while driving, especially on the highway where my cruise control is on. This is awesome! Then, when I get to work, I can do 12-14 wall push ups in the elevator going up and again going down, every time I use the elevator. A little extra exercise every day can't hurt!   • Great idea! i also do this when I am walking. Our mailboxes are spaced out and grouped together. When I reach the first one I hold in my abs and keep then in until the next one, then let go. This gives me an ab workout along with my walk. - by LYNCHD05
