For a sweet treat without all the remorse, take a handful of raw almonds and mix with 1/8 teaspoon sugar-free protein drink mix, put them in a covered container and shake. Really good, especially with chocolate-flavored drink mix.

I have found that eating 1/2c of cottage cheese is a great snack while cooking dinner. I'm usually fairly famished when I get home, and CC is a great source of Calcium and Protein. With fruit it also makes a great dessert.
We used to let a lot of bananas ROT and then we would toss them. But now , once they get ripe enough, I just freeze them. They are great in smoothies or, just sliced frozen banana is a great dessert if you mash them up a bit. It tastes just like an ice cream treat to me.
