I wear my pedometer faithfully and ride a stationary bike 4 or 5 times a week. At the end of the day, I figure out how many miles I've traveled and trace the miles on a map. It's exciting to reach a new state and it keeps me going.

    love this idea. I will see how long it takes for me to take a virtual trip from where I live in Jacksonville to my cousins in PA and than on to my different locations in Michigan. I think it would be nicer to visit everyone in real life but this will be fun.

    I don't own a car, so I bike & (mostly) walk the majority of times, including 3 mile round-trip walk to work. I LOVE that idea! I might have reached one of the coasts by now! lol! emoticon

    Check out this website. It's not fancy, but it lets you track your progress in a cross-country trip. You put your miles in, and it shows you a picture of where you are on a map.
