To give my food the flavor I was looking for, I started experimenting with seasonings, and that has kept me from using dips with my food.

  • I'm a huge sauce fan too, but unfortunately most of them contain huge amounts of sodium and/or sugar (not to mention calories!), which wreak havoc on your nutrition and exercise efforts.
Mrs. Dash is an excellent low sodium choice! Experiment with mixing different seasonings in a little bit of olive oil or coconut oil for a "healthy fat" option. Another little trick if you HAVE to have sauce, is to lightly dip every OTHER bite, and not dunk the whole bite but just dip the edge. • I like strong flavors, too, and now learning to use seasoning more often than dressing. it's working well for me :) - by FALASTIN
