I recently joined a produce co-op. They are available in many areas of the country. The one I joined has several locations is several western states. In addition to saving money, I get plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables that helps me stay on track eating healthy.
I recently re-joined a produce co-op in my area. I have also learned about a local "produce rescue" that allows the public to pay $10 for and shop for up to 60 lbs. of produce! I had no idea these options were out there. In addition to being inexpensive ways of buying produce, it rather "forces" me to get creative and find new recipes for healthy foods. 550
There are both organic co-ops and those that offer a choice or "regular" or organic for a few dollars more. Look on the internet and you ay be surprised what is in your area. The "produce rescue" operation turned out to have a location once a month a mile from my house and I never knew this before
