My Husband And I Do Not Agree

This Sparked Me!

He was taught that one does not eat between meals and he is a Spartan, who has never done so./ The new thinking of eating 5 smaller meals is something he FIRMLY disagrees with. I have to choose with doing all I can to be healthy, or agree with him and let him RANT.

    thats a tough one but I agree that several smaller meals are best.

My parents were also 'three meals a day' people with absolutely NO snacking in between.

So as a kid I would come home from school...arriving at about 4:15 ....having eaten lunch at noon I was hungry but we were not allowed to eat anything until dinner which was always at 6 PM......needless to say there was no way we could do homework or play .....our energy levels had sunk to the floor.

AND WE ALL HAVE or had weight issues....all three of us.....does that say something? I think so.

Now I tend to eat three smaller meals with three snacks in between. and it works for me....so far.

    I don't know how much weight you have to lose but if you can show him that your way will work he will shush. And if this isn't a motivator to lose I don't know what is!!!

    I use to do no snacking but i to have always been heavy! Now i eat 3 meals and 3 snacks and my weight is going down! emoticon
