I make it a practice when I go out to eat, I always ask for water, I drink water while I am looking at the menu then when my food come I only eat half. After drinking water before I am already full. I take my doggie bag home for the next day.

    I do this too! I don't need the extra calories from a soda so I only drink water with my meal at a restaurant. Plus the serving sizes are so large, it's easily 2 meals, if not 3!

    Great Idea!

Most restaurants pack sooooo many calories into one meal anyways - I think taking some home for the next day is an awesome idea and I'm going to incorporate that the next time I go out as well. I find when I eat out and pay ($) for a meal, I don't want to leave any behind, and figure I need to eat the whole meal, but this is a great alternative.

    I do the same thing and I find I always have food to bring home for the next day. Doing something as drinking water is an easy way to curb your appetite. emoticon
