Look at the listed ingredients of any item you're thinking about buying/eating, and really think about what those ingredients are. The idea of putting unknown chemicals into my system is sometimes enough to make me put it down!

Also, as a good rule of thumb, don't eat anything with sugar or some form of sugar listed as the main ingredient (i.e. the first item on the list. Anything that ends in -ose is a sugar.).
