If there are no goodies in the house, I will turn to fruit and vegetables as a snack. Unbuttered air popped popcorn (no salt) is also a satisfying treat. TREAT is the keyword. It doesn't mean a full 4 litre mixing bowl. Common sense will guide you.
For my sweets craving a crisp apple seems to work. If I am still craving after that a sugar free butterscotch hard candy will do the trick. It sure keeps my diabetes in better control
