One day a week, plan out what you will eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and keep a log of the meals/recipes. Then, make your grocery list from your weekly log. Doing so has saved me time in the evenings and at the grocery store.

    I plan my meals but I have to be flexible too. Today I had my dinner planned but discovered I had to use up the last of the fresh Asparagus so made asparagus soup instead for dinner.

    also this helps the decision making when it comes to dinner time and noone knows what they want
