Whenever my motivation to exercise is waning and I ask myself, "Do I really need to exercise today?" I just step on the scale. If I am not at my goal weight, the answer is obvious: Exercise is a crucial component in my regimen to lose weight. YES, I should exercise! If I am at my goal weight, the answer is obvious. YES, I should exercise! I've gotta keep exercising if I want to maintain and rock my hot new bod!

I used to think "Oh no...I HAVE to exercise today to reach my weight goals" but when someone suggested I think of it as "I DESERVE to exercise today" it changed my whole perspective and for the first time in my life I began exercising regularly and loved it! That was 2 and a half years ago.
Today is your only chance to do it today. Today is the only chance you have to exercise today. Today is the only chance you have to eat right today. Today is your only chance to prevent regret at the end of the day for what was not done today.
I seem to do much better when I remind myself that I only have one chance to do the right thing today. I can never re-do today.
