Kashi GoLean Crunch is a great granola like cereal. In just one cup its packs in 10g protein, 9g fibre and has seven whole grains in it. Its a little high calorie at 230, and has 40g of carbs, but is a nice alternative to meat, eggs or cheese. It has whole oats, long grain brown rice, rye, hard red winter wheat, triticale, buckwheat, barley and sesame seeds! It does have 15g sugar. and 25% of your folate needs. Lots of great nutrients!

Rather expensive for the amount you get even in the large package, so will be an alternative once in a while.
Its not a bad flavor and I love it with frozen blueberries on it :)

    I can't eat it, my stomach goes nuts. I think it's the soy in it. I found another cereal though. Special K protein plus. 10 grams of protein but alot less carbs. Try it out if your fiber sensitive. Also I can eat other Kashi Cereals like heart to heart or vanilla island.

    I signed up for something free and received a coupon for a box! I am so hooked as they even taste healthy; expensive so I go on the web page, print couons an duse them when this product is on sale at my grocery store!

    I keep a box of Kashi at my desk at work and have it nearly every morning. I've never been a milk with cereal person so it's easy to just pour in a mug and eat dry at work. I've found the proten really helps curb my appetite versus just a carb cereal.

    This cereal has been a favorite of mine for many years. I oftentimes portion out individual servings, put them in small plastic sandwich (snack) bags, and have them available for those times when I want something crunchy (but satisfying) to snack on.

    I need a good dose protein to get me through the morning. When I eat cereal, I weigh out a half of a serving and add it to a half serving of cottage cheese or Greek yogurt. If the cereal is like this one ---high in calories ----eating only a half serving satisfies me and doesn't put me over my limits for the day. Usually, I add a half of a banana or other fresh fruit. If I don't have any, I always keep frozen strawberries and blueberries in the freezer.

Because I'm not adding milk, the cereal stays crunchy and it also makes cottage cheese taste better. I add it to plain yogurt and don't miss the sweetener or flavoring.

My husband loves Kashi Go Lean. I usually eat Fiber One, but will sometimes mix it with his Kashi. I usually buy several large boxes at a time at Costco, but they didn't have any the last time I was there.
