What has been helping me with losing weight is to be able to visualise how much I've lost (and need to go)... To do this I visualise it in terms of cans of coke (or any canned drink)...
Most are 330ml which equates to 330g (in the UK anyway), so it's 3 cans per kg - or if you're using lbs, it's 1lb = 1 and a third cans cans...
So when you 'only' lose just under 1lb in a week, it's quite a lot, when you actually pick up a can. 2lb is 2.5 cans, etc, etc.
we collect cans! so on daz when we dont do w/o's, i grab my perdometer, a grabber & i walk , pick up cans. i can steps, & collecting cans cleans up the enviorment, & i get a little money.. did u know 10 bags of crushed cans pays approx 15.00? thats a new gym outfit 4 me. 334
When I think about the weight I have lost, I think of it as the 3 pound cans of Crisco. I have lost over 60 pounds which would be like carrying 20 cans of Crisco. Can you imagine carrying 20 cans of Crisco everywhere you go. I have about 23 cans to go (69 pounds). 334
