I have a large and active Spark friends list and a slow connection -bad combo. So I handle my huge friend feed lists this way. First I read all my Spark articles e-mails, earning my points for each one, which gives me six new windows, I click on friend feed on each window, and then go back to the first, click all my likes and comments, then click on blogs on each feed, reading and commenting on one while the others are still loading.
MORE INFORMATION:
I am able to get around to more blogs this way with my slow connection in a shorter time. Also, in huddling, when you click on a blog, you get a new window as well, so when I do all my huddles, I use those extra windows to tackle my friend feed too

Have experienced the slowness of dial-up internet and know what you are talking about. One thing I often did was to request a page, then I would then get up and load the washer, grab bills to be paid or do what ever needed to be done. Waiting for something to come up is definitely a waste of time.

Easier Friend Feed Usage
While using the friend feed to see what my Spark friends are up to, I keep an extra window open showing all my friends. Then I can easily link to their individual Spark pages to comment, give goodies, read and comment on their blogs, and send them sparkmail without having to leave the friend feed.
MORE INFORMATION:
This saves me the time and trouble of having to reopen the friend feed and navigate through the pages to continue reading the feed.
Delete accidental multiposts and activity feed errors.
Sometimes Spark gets a glitch and you find your blog posted 4 times! Please delete the extra ones, not only from your page, but also from your activity feed. This way you won't spam your friend's activity feeds. Delete extra status feeds too
MORE INFORMATION:
Those of us with large activity feeds and a slow connection appreciate not having duplicates show up to wade through. Also if you post a blog then decide to delete it, please delete it from the activity feed as well, so we don't click on an empty link! Thanks a bunch!
I have a lot of active friends and was struggling to keep up with all their activities so I could cheer them on, until I discovered, on the Start page, a link called Friend Feed. There it lists all the activities of your friends for the day, not just the current ones you see on the side of the page
MORE INFORMATION:
This helps when you are not logged on 24/7 and may miss things. You can see any blog they post and go right to it from that list. Its very helpful! It allows you to post comments on their activities without having to go to each individual page, great with a slow internet connection!
