I love to read Runner's World Magazine and recently took up running. I am training for my first 5K Thanksgiving weekend. I was inspired by an article to run in the moment and enjoy the experience. Instead of thinking about making it to the next point or in three minutes I can quit, I focus on my breath, the rhythm of my feet, the bird song, and the light through the trees. Suddenly, I understand my husband's motivation to run.

Three things to consider when you find yourself slipping back. 1) Review the reasons you set your goals.. 2) Ask yourself, "Am I spending plenty of time with people who support my goals?" 3) Ask yourself, "Am I willing to love myself enough to achieve my goals 'this moment'?"
