Secrets of Success

Be Patient

It is so easy to get discouraged when you have a week or so with no visible progress. Be patient with your weight loss progress, it helps me to remember that it took decades to add the weight, it just isn't realistic to believe it is all coming off in a month!! You may not see it, but your body is changing with every good choice you make!!

I guess I should be patient. I didn't get like this over night, so I'm sure it will not leave over night either. Thanks, :) - by TOOCAR
  • I need to be reminded of this all the time, I think I'm still a young women and that the weight is going to come off easily for me, but not true. It's only gotten harder as I age, so if I only lost 7 pounds in 6 months that's a whole lot better then gaining that weight in 6 months. I need to stay more motivated and not lose hope because as I do lose weight I'm going to fell better and therefore be able to do more exercise to lose more weight. Being 69 is a lot harder to diet then when I was 29. I need to feel good about the weight I have lost and keep on keep on, Just doing it! - by NANAOFHUCK
  • This is my main problem, I forget this. Thanks for the reminder - by SCHARFRED
