Avoid Morning Grumpiness With Protein

Save some of your calories for a before-bed snack. Then eat some protein. (Contrary to popular belief, if doesn't matter when you eat, but how much you eat in a day.) Have some Greek yogurt, a slice of cheese, a piece of chicken, a small serving of cottage cheese, some deli turkey, an egg. You will wake up much less grumpy in the morning because your blood sugar will not be so low. Then eat some healthy protein for breakfast.. (continued)

I used to be the world's worst morning grump, but since I started doing this, everyone (my husband, my coworkers) all noticed my improved mood. I was known as the person not to approach with any problem before 11 am. Now, I'm raring to go within a half hour of eating breakfast.
