I really hate to exercise, it would cause so much pain. I needed to build up the muscles! So I started water jogging. Same benefits, much more fun, and no pain. You'll feel like noodle when you get out of the water though ;)
Of all of the tips I learned while losing weight, drinking my water at room temp was the most life-changing for me! I had been sipping my cold water all day until I discovered (learned from a seasoned dieter) that if I drink my water at room temp I could gulp it down in seconds. 2 litres of water has been a minimum of water intake for me since then...for the last 2 years...and it is EASY.
When you get up in the morning, you're bound to be dehydrated. Drinking coffee first thing will only dehyrdate you more, so start off by grabbing a bottle (or glass) of water BEFORE you grab a cup of coffee! I've found that starting early makes it much easier to reach that eight cup a day mark.
