At breakfast I take my multiple vitamin, fish oil capsule, vitamin E and calcium pill. This was time consuming clicking each one on my nutrition tracker every day, so I made a "grouping" with all these and named it " Breakfast meds". Now with one click in my groupings all my breakfast meds are added to my breakfast at one time.
Herring, catfish, tuna fish, cod liver oil, mackeral, sockeye salmon, eggs, sunshine, vitamin D3 supplements. Your Vitamin D Level can be Checked by blood tests in order to get your levels up to the 'optimal' Vitamin D Level. Make sure your diabetic doctor or endocrinologist check your vitamin D and magnesium levels.
When I make muffins, cakes, or brownies, I substitute skim milk for the milk, applesauce for the oil, and egg beaters for the eggs. If it calls for 1/2 c. of oil, use 1/2 c. of applesauce. Egg beater conversion is 1 egg equals 1/4 c. egg beaters. This really cuts down on the fat and it doesn't take away from the taste.
I don't recommend substituting applesauce for oil in cookies though. It makes them too doughy.
