This method had been tested by many people, and found to be one of the best methods to stop cough. Cut off the top part of the orange, put some salt into the orange, and replace the top part. Steam it for 10 minutes and eat all the flesh including the juice at the bottom of the bowl. May not taste very nice, but cures your prolonged cough in days.

Turkey made with chicken broth instead of butter, baked or steamed sweet potatoes (hold the butter and the salt), cranberries are also rich in antioxidants and fiber(not to much sugar to sweeten),carrots with parsely, red cabbage, steamed green beans w/ slivered almonds, steamed califlower, cucumber &onion salad with vinegar.\, a bit of sugar, citrus glazed asparagus, brussel sprouts, brocolli, a small sliver of pumpkin pie with fat free cool whip or a baked apple w/ cinnamon. Plan ahead!
Just steam your veggies and serve them tossed with a little olive oil and salt and pepper. Don't make it too complicated! If you don't have a veggie plan for dinner...simply steam them and eat them. Just do it!
