Ok we all have laundry to do, when it comes to folding its a bore, well one day I had on some oldies and just started moving to the music while folding and putting away. I keep my feet a stepping, it was fun and when I checked my pedometer I had added another 10 minutes to my aerobic steps. Cool way to get some fun exercise and get work done too.

To get me past thinking of what should I do--exercise at home or go to the gym, stay home and do the laundry or exercise, i've started to roll the dice. If I have two choices then even numbers are the first choice and odd numbers are the second. No more head games and guilt trips,
If I find myself toggling between things that need to be done, but I'm fighting myself to do them, i roll the dice--guess it's die for one, because I only have one die to help me make some decisions and get on with my day.
When you're doing laundry you can increase the number of steps you take by taking one item at a time out of the hamper and putting it in the washer. That's a lot of walking back and forth especially if you move the hamper further away from the washer. If you are unbundling socks or checking pockets and haven't finished by the time you reach the washer, walk around in front of it until you're ready to put the item in the machine.
You can also take more steps when unloading the dryer by taking out one item at a time. If you're up for it, you can also do a squat each time you reach into the dryer or front loading washer.
