I try to have a cheat day once a month in order to eat what a I want.
We have to face it, there are alot of items wth high calorie and it is hard to just have one. I have this cheat day because I can not believe I can eat the whole kitchen on that day but just have the desires of my taste buds. It is simply a cheat day to reward myself for doing so well 29-30 days

Everybody here has probably tried having a cheat day, a day where you're free to indulge (hopefully still in moderation). Of course there have been concerns about how healthy- and if cheat days are even healthy- they are. I don't agree with cheat days, I personally cannot handle doing them. But I reccomend that if you can handle having a cheat day, that you do it during the week!
Having a cheat day on the weekend is super hard because if you don't work on the weekend, you have more free time to go places. And you may find your healthy eating going down the drain all day. It is easier, I think, to have a controlled 'cheat day' somewhere in the middle of the week.
If you spill red wine on a white carpet, you just clean it up, not pour on more.
We all have days when we don't follow our nutrition goals, when we eat so much we feel really, really bad later. Sometimes it's tempting to just keep on going like this because after all, we blew it once again right? Wrong. Just like you can get any stain out if you act quickly, you can turn yourself around by thinking about what you did and how you can prevent it next time.
Allow yourself "cheat" days once in a while, maybe once a month. Don't count your calories that day, eat whatever you've been craving and only eat until you're full. When you have a craving write it down and then on cheat day see if you still feel like eating it.
I cheated 2 times this week and still lost weight. Why? Because I continue to exercise no matter what. My husband and I workout 5 days a week and have lost a total of 20 pounds together in a month. I cheated by eating a Krispy Creme Donut filled with vanilla custard. It was good, but not to healthy.334
