Okay, I don't literally write on the wall. However, I do write my weight weekly on the mirror of my bathroom as well as a monthly waist and "gut" measurements. Since the bathroom is where I begin my day, it is a good reminder of the progress made and a motivator to stay on track.
All you need is a mirror or perhaps a dry erase board and markers to use.
I have a lot of trouble clearing my mind of speeding thoughts when i am trying to go to sleep. I have learned to see my mind as a big black board with all of the thoughts listed. I start erasing the thoughts.
The thoughts may jump back on the board keep erasing till they are gone. Or surprise, you are relaxed and asleep.102
