Change something! Eat at a different calorie range, eat different combinations of foods. Change the intensity of how you exercise. Change the exercise. If you walk, jog for 15 seconds then walk 1 minute. If you run at a certain speed, increase the speed for 15 second intervals. Use the incline on the treadmill for 15 second intervals. If you like exercise DVDs, then buy a new one. Change is good. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

This is true, I knew for awhile now I needed to increase the intensity of my workouts and I finally did and it is working.

Changing calories is good.... go up 50 or 100 calories for a day and then down again...also check your carbs...do low carb day for two days... Berries for breakfast with 1/2 cup of skim... 4 ounces Oscar Mayer Mesquite Turkey Breast on 2 slices of "Natures Own Honey Wheat Bread" ( 35 Calories a slice, 8 Carbs a slice) with 1 tbs. of Kraft Horseradish Sauce or mustard. 1 cup of Watermelon for a snack... Dreamfield's Pasta 2ounces with tuna or chicken (Dreamfield's pasta has only 5 digestible carbs) 2 Tangerines as a snack..... This should give you a fresh start

I have been on a plateau for the last couple of months, I did notice when walked, I would walk faster and longer. There wasn't any change, however I didn't remove anything from what i was eating, after reading this thinking back, i added to it. so in short! i will remove 3 food items from my daily/weekly meals, and step it up a notch. thanks for the reminder!! change is usually a good thing:)

I have been on a plateau for so long I couldnt see any way off it. Will take your sugestions on board, I am stuck in a rut so now will look for a big shake up. Thanks Ree
Change something drastic in your routine to get past that plateau.
MORE INFORMATION:
I have given up most simple sugar from my diet. By just changing this one part of my diet (no sweets, soda, juice) I have lost about 10 pounds during this past month.
I find that switching it up works really well! Time to give your body another challenge. Whether it is changing something in your daily diet, to changing or adding something to your workouts! You have to change things up! Your body gets bored, just like you do!!
