well i am doing really well with my run/walk routine a good way to keep up with yourself is to set goals or rather identify a landmark along the way for example i always tell myself you can't stop jogging until you reach that bench or that post or if i do stop i always set a mental goal like hey your gonna start running when you get to that bench. I also always set goals to pass the person in front of me so it makes me move faster!!! I am so proud of me i'll be running non-stop in no time!

To be able to run greater distances, I pick a landmark ahead of me on the run, and I tell myself that I can make it to that point. Once I get there, I pick another landmark and so on. Before I know it, I've run the entire route and I feel great not having given up at any point before the finish. 104
Making sure you are safe and it's daytime (of course) walk/jog/run your exercise in a new direction of your neighbor until you are semi-ďlostĒ. This always doubles the time I tell myself Iím going to jog because I jog until Iím about a block or two away from a landmark I recognize.
I'm never truly lost because my neighborhood is essentially one huge circle, but Iíve increased my exercise, charted new driving shortcuts, and increased my endurance!
