324I find that getting my exercise done the first thing in the morning gets my day off to a good start. If I put it off, everything seems to be behind schedule and I am upset with myself. Being a morning person may be why this works for me.
I never considered myself a morning person, but I've trained myself to get up earlier and get my workout in before I go to work. That means I have to get up at 4:30 am to get in my strength training and half of my cardio before work...that's early but it gets my day off to such a great start!
I alternate upper body, lower body and core as my strength training routine, so I'm doing some form of strength training every day. I do half my cardio before work and walk on my lunch and breaks to get the rest in...no more "I'm too tired to work out" when I get home from work.
