One of the things I do to enjoy life is to have fun! By making chores and exercise fun, I have a great time! my daughter makes sure we all have fun! I even have fun when I am cooking,too. Being positive every day keeps me motivated.
I find that when I make eating and other areas of my life more fun, I enjoy life and I have so much more energy! Energy levels stay high by having a positive outlook on life,enjoying a variety of foods in moderation and exercising daily with activities I love to do!
Sometimes when I am in a cardio rut I combine my exercise routines. you don't have to be a triathlete or duathlete to appreciate gym workouts that incorporate two or more cardio sessions. Say I have only 4o minutes to exercise but am burned out from the bike. I will perform a HIIT bike training for 20 minutes and immediately transition to the Treadmill for 20 minutes of run / walk exercise. It keeps your exercise fun, you can track your improvement and it shocks you out of complacency
