This Sparked Me!

One of the major things holding me back from starting a new healthy lifestyle was smoking. Smoking was truly my small snowball...but as it rolled downhill my choices of exercise and dining became a big avalanche...although it has only been 72 hours...I already feel better and have been making better choices

I am using the PATCH.. Have been for about 6 weeks. I have smoked a few here and there, but thank God, I really hack and cough the next day.. Keep on trying.. Hope I can really quit this time... I am not proud of sharing that I am a smoker trying to quit, but I am proud that I am really trying.. Hang in there emoticon

I stopped September 11th. It would have been my dad's 67 birthday. It helps if you have a partner too. My husband quite with me. We both used the patch. The first week was really hard for me, but it is like weight loss, one step at a time. Somedays are still hard, but I get through it. Most of you have taken that first step! Way to go!

Just remember not one puff. If you think you can have a puff of a smoke, believe me it will hook you all over again.
I have been smoke free for 6 yrs now. If I can do it you can do it!

Good for you on stopping smoking. My husband had open heart
surgery and his dr. told him there was nothing wrong with his
arteries, it was only clogged from smoking. He smoked for over
40 years. He quit....of course it helped he was in hospital for
10 days....
