One of the major things holding me back from starting a new healthy lifestyle was smoking. Smoking was truly my small snowball...but as it rolled downhill my choices of exercise and dining became a big avalanche...although it has only been 72 hours...I already feel better and have been making better choices

Ideas below. Yogurt with 1/2 banana sliced. ..or
Celery Stick with Laughing Cow cheese...1 Graham Cracker with 1/2 apple, an orange and a mozzerella stick Appreciate more ideas
Every night I sit down with my diary to look at my next day's appointments. So, I bought stickers coloured red, amber and green, and I stick them in as a summary of my day - bad, okay, or good! At the end of the week, I flick back through and it feels great to see a week's worth of green stickers!
I don't always want to make good food choices or exercise so it helps have to have someone to share my day with...the good and the bad. Someone who knows my dreams and goals and celebrates all my successes with great joy. A cheerleader. My daughter is my cheerleader. She is always up for a walk or activity and encourages me to reach my goals. My grandsons are also fantastic cheerleaders and excited to walk to the park or go for a bike ride. Hip Hip Hooray for CHEERLEADERS!
I keep a sunhat and sunglasses in my car along with my walking sticks...I try to be prepared.
