Sour Cream Substitute

This Sparked Me!

I use lowfat plain yogurt for almost all things that call for sour cream. The yogurt is lower in fat than sour cream, but cooks better than fat free sour cream.

mmmmmmm...mix Greek Plain Yogurt with chopped (finely) cucumbers and fresh dill, let sit over night and use it as a dip for fresh veggies or as a topping on your sandwich!! Yummo!!

I agree about the plain fat free greek Yogurt. I Enjoy it more as a sour cream substitute, than eating it as yogurt.

Agreed! Now that I have been using greek yogurt for so long I can't stand sour cream.
WESLEYV 3/29/2010 4:48:00 PM

    It works well
