I discovered this secret recently while setting up for strength training. I use 2 8-lb dumbbells and 2 5-lb dumbbells -- just about the amt of weight I've lost so far.
Well, one morning, I carried all 4 dumbbells in my arms and could barely move. I realized this was what it had been like for me just 10 months ago. I was winded and moving very slowly.
SO...when I'm tempted, I remind myself of where I've been and carry my dumbbells around the house. THAT takes my mind off of the food!
you don't have to carry 26 lbs around; even 2 5-lb weights are enough to give you an idea of what extra weight on you will do to you if you take your eyes off the prize.
