When you start out write all the reasons you're doing this and get it laminated. This will then be a constant reminder to you, make several copies and put them where you need them most such as on the fridge, inside food cupboards
This ensures that when you're tempted to 'cheat' you'll see why you want to succeed, you have to face your list every time you're tempted, it's a good motivator
Choose Variety Instead of Over-eating on One Thing
I'm not sure why this is, and I haven't read this anywhere; but if I'm going to overeat, usually I keep going after that one dish that tastes so good. I'm finding out that when I "graze" and eat smaller portions of many different healthy things, I'm more satisfied than overeating on one thing. So, I'm less tempted to overeat at all and I walk away with my taste buds quite satisfied. Try it and see if it works for you. 441
