If I overeat or have a high calorie snack I don't go to pieces, berate myself or give up. I sit down, and figure how to make up for it, such as exercising at a higher intensity. In the past I would call myself a failure and give up. No more!

I think that forgiveness is the key to happiness and that is the key to being a positive person in general. It all starts with forgiveness. The ability to forgive ourselves when we make mistakes, the ability to forgive others for things they do that hurt us, and knowing that god forgives us helps me control my own happiness making everyday positive for me.
