Cheesy, I know, but instead of telling myself that I'm hungry, I try to tell myself "I need nutrition". I can ask myself "Do I need nutrition, or am I just feeling snacky?" It kind of discounts food as a "treat" and makes me think of it more as simply a neccessity for living.

I love flaxseed but i couldnt incorprate the seeds into all my meals..it has a nutty flavor and can present itself if u use too much...so i switched to the oil..i add it to my sauces, chillis, smoothies..it doesnt change the flavor of my foods and i am getting well needed nutrition
Plan your food ahead. Make it healthy, make it within your range. Click the feedback and make sure it covers most of what you need, nutrition wise. Then FOLLOW it. Even if you are still hungry. Even if you get cravings. Just follow it anyway! And over the month you will get used to eating less.
Walking to Farmer's Markets for fresh fruit and vegetables is a wonderful way to get exercise and needed nutrition. When I lived farther away from the market, I would park about two miles away and walk to the market and back to my car!
