This is the best tip available. I'm living proof. I weighed 496 lbs 11 months ago, now I weigh 350. I increased my sleep from 4 hrs a night to 7 hrs. I know this to be true because I didn't start exercising until 6 months ago. The only thing I did initially is changed my eating habits and sleep more but I started shedding lbs immediately.

I like this.I have severe insomnia since I have been married and now have a house and mega bills etc. I don'tthink that is theonly reason. But I have had a hard time I think sleep is only a small part of the problem

Having a balanced food at regular intervals, keeping sufficiently hydrated, with exercise and adequate sleep -my way to weight loss!306
I read a few articles that said not getting enough sleep or getting to much sleep will cause weight gain or inhibit weight loss. Apparently, this is esp. true for women 30+. The articles said that 8-9 hrs was optimum and that those who regularly slept that amount and at the same time each night would be able to loose and maintain their weight the best. This was something I had never incorporated in my previous endeavors to loose weight.
MORE INFORMATION:
When I lost 97 lbs, one of the most beneficial things was learning that people often develop weight problems if they do not get the right amount of sleep. I made a conscious effort to get 8-9 hrs nightly and it had a very dramatic effect. The weight came off much easier than ever before.
Before going to bed drink plenty of water, have a good 8-9 hours sleep, when you wake up, go pee, and weight in, you'll see wonderful weight loss (probably). If you still sleepy go back to sleep but don't sleep too much., don't want to wake up tired of too much sleep.
