I find that when i login to sparkpeople during my lunch hour at work I will eat less, enter info at a time that is more convenient to me, and read more emails to collect points. It keeps me more conscious of what I'm doing during the week

I had been on a "plateau" for nearly three months - basically I wasn't really staying alert to a good exercise regimen. I went back to charting all foods (weighing anything that could be weighed, using measuring cups, etc.) I also started changing my exercise routine at least once a week and PRESTO! I've started losing a pound a week again.
Today I was with my 80 + girlfriend and my husbands friend is also 80 and both are just as alert and healthy . I hope I can live that long and have an alert mind. You see people that are fifty and their minds are slipping. I hope with what I do in keeping healthy and keeping my mind working by reading, being involved, that I can live to a ripe old age alert.
