I use my public library every week for new fitness videos, movies and books. This saves me so much money all year long and I always have new fitness videos. Not to mention that you can usually go on-line or in-house to borrow from other public libraries. The library is also a great resource for activities, meetings, etc. Check out their event calendars! Fun and FREE events for the whole family!211
Online Cooking Magazines Through Your Public Library
My local public library has a database of electronic resources, including eBooks, digital audio files of books on tape, online newspapers, etc. I have recently discovered that in the periodical databases, issues of many popular cooking magazines are available in PDF format- for free!
I have free access to current and archived issues of magazines such as Vegetarian Times, Gourmet, Martha Stewart Living, etc. through the database called MasterFILE Premier. Ask your public librarian!
One of the best ways to save money is to make use of your local public library. Our library not only has books and magazines, but classic and current movies on DVD or VHS. Library cards are free when you present a driver's license or other form of ID. The library is certainly a great resource for saving money. Blessings, Meg
