I invested in a shark steam cleaner and it sanitzies everything. It's effective and leaves everything smelling nice. Trust me, if it broke, I'd be buying another one. It gets into areas where your hand cannot. It has a squeege for windows, works great.

So many cleaners and chemicals are unhealthy. Use baking soda and vinegar to clean bathrooms and your kitchen sink. A clean rag dipped in hot water will clean your counters and a steam mop will get your floors clean and sanitized with no residue. A pot simmering with water, cinnamon and vanilla makes a great air freshener. It's good for your home, health and the earth!
1/4 cup of vinegar with a few drops of olive oil is a natural furniture polish with no harmful scent or chemicals!
Almost everyone uses a dish sponge to clean dishes but they get nasty so here is my trick to clean your sponge and your microwave. To sanitize your sponge microwave it for 1 minute as long as it is damp (say after cleaning dishes) it will create a steam bath and loosen the grime in your microwave. So now your sponge is clean and your microwave just needs to be wiped out to sparkle.
A quick way to clean up your grill is to get a clean dishrag or washcloth, wet and put it on the grill right after the food is done. The steam from the wet rag will help soften the hardened "bits" making it easier to clean up after your meal.
Make sure the rag is very wet, almost dripping with water. You can also use those white shop towels that Sam's Club or similar stores sell. They look like large washcloths and hold a lot of water.
