I believe that a part of my success in losing weight is avoiding a ton of condiments on sandwiches/burgers and dressings on salads... I have switched to mustard only for sandwiches, ketchup and mustard for burgers (can't give up my ketchup!), cheese strings for cheese slices (way less in calories-just pull them and put them on your burgers/sandwiches) and malt vinegar goes on my salads!!! I have saved a lot of saturated fat and calories this way...and the food still tastes great! :)

It seems like a lot of condiments have serving sizes of two tablespoons--salsa, peanut butter, sour cream, etc. I was making an egg burrito a while ago and put sour cream and salsa in it. I didn't realize until afterward, but I had accidentally measured with the 1/2 tablespoon, so I was actually only eating 1 tablespoon total of each. Since then, I always do this, and I almost always have enough of the condiment. It helps me save on fat and calories, but still get the flavor. Try it out!
