Little Milestones

When I'm walking or jogging, Instead of thinking about miles I think of milestones. "I can jog to the next street sign." I find that once I get there it wasn't so bad and I can go farther. "I can jog to the tree." Having these little milestones helps me push myself a little farther each day.

    That is a great idea. I now have limited mobility so I use landmarks to help me to mark my progress as I increase my walking. Didn't think to call them milestones, but I will from now on. Thanks for sharing.
