This Sparked Me!

Every day I make it a point to acknowledge my gratitude for the blessings I have in my life. I am very grateful to have the things that I have in my life. I am grateful for my internet connection, my membership to Weight Watchers, my membership of Sparks, my gym membership, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a car to drive and on and on. Keeping a gratitude journal daily has been proven to reduce stress and to stay positive.

    This is a very good idea. Thanks for the reminder. I find that I get wrapped up in all the challenges that happen though out the day that I forget what I have to be thankful for.

    I agree, it is a good idea to pick out the good points in your life.It doesn't matter what you religion is, Gratitude for what we have is common to them all, as indeed is Charity. Once we have been grateful for what we have, and what we are, we can enhance it by caring what we can do to help others, even if its only picking up somebody's dropped books, or opening a door for a mom with a baby buggy. While we are doing that we are not thinking about what we are NOT so again the negative gets pushed to one side where it belongs emoticon

    I have also found when I count my blessings it makes it hard to let negativity take control. Which makes people want to be around me more often.
