Back in May of this year, when I was diagnosed with the Big "D", they gave me a meter, we tested my blood and I went home to test 3 times a day. My readings were always in the 130's to 140's. I couldn't get my backlight to work so I started reading the manual on line. I came across the section on coding your meter. I read it and found my meter said one but my strip canister said 25. I reset my meter to 25 and now my readings are 80 to 108 consistently. Go Figure...! ! ! Lesson Learned...
I do wish I would have known that from the beginning. Don't Forget to Code Your Meter to the number on your test strip canister.... AND Don't Forget to TEST, Don't Guess ! ! !
