I have found that listening to you body and eating only when your hungry and then stopping when the hunger is gone is the best way to loose weight despite the amount of calories you are suppose to take in. as long as all the food you eat is very healthy and whole. No junk food.
My mind has held sway over what my body needs. When I listen to my body, it craves veggies, fruits, protein, and whole grains. When I listen to my mind, it craves junk. I've started listening to my body, and my reward is more energy and SPARK! 224
My dietitian taught me to listen to my body for hunger cues. For example, I am not that hungry at lunchtime, but starving after I go to the gym. SO I now have a snack at lunchtime and lunch in mid afternoon when I get back from the gym. She told me to make sure I have plenty of protein then.
By listening to when my body is hungry, it leads to eating more when I need it and less when I do not.
