Increasing my protein intake and reducing my carbs at my doctor's recommendation after 10 pounds had crept on me. By following that advice, I feel better than ever, and I am slowly but surely dropping those added pounds.

Cut out all whites from my diet. Example replaced white flour with almond or coconut flour. No white rice , bread. Organic cheese, milk, fruits and meats. No cold cereal only steel cut oats. No can soup,vegetables or fruit. I feel great and have lost 45 pounds in 5 months. I'm never hungry.

If I have the urge to work out, I grab my shoes and go outside to put them on. This way, I don't run the risk of sitting on the couch in front of the TV or at the kitchen table in front of another task . It makes it nearly impossible for that devil on my shoulder to tell me I have something better to do!
I have learned that weight loss isn't just about the calories and exercise. It is also about how to get your digestive system working for you. Blueberries at breakfast!!! I have a cup of Honey Bunches of Oats and cup of blueberries with nonfat milk every morning. It is actually my favorite meal of the day. Well, you will have to go to the bathroom after you eat it, but that is what gets your system regular, if you know what I mean. Good Luck.
