Increasing my protein intake and reducing my carbs at my doctor's recommendation after 10 pounds had crept on me. By following that advice, I feel better than ever, and I am slowly but surely dropping those added pounds.

MORE INFORMATION:
I drink a 120 calorie protein shake every morning at breakfast, but protein can be found in many other sources. I also love greek yogurt and string cheese.

    I also have lessen the carbs, and upped the protein and especially the veges. Good for you, believe me, it gets harder to keep it off after 40.

    This is good advice most of the time. However, I believe it depends on the individual, what their original intake is and what type of lifestyle they engage. I have seen it many times that if you go over in calorie range or nutrients proteins are best.
