Increasing my protein intake and reducing my carbs at my doctor's recommendation after 10 pounds had crept on me. By following that advice, I feel better than ever, and I am slowly but surely dropping those added pounds.

More Information:

I drink a 120 calorie protein shake every morning at breakfast, but protein can be found in many other sources. I also love greek yogurt and string cheese.

    I also have lessen the carbs, and upped the protein and especially the veges. Good for you, believe me, it gets harder to keep it off after 40. - by SLIMMAR
  • This is good advice most of the time. However, I believe it depends on the individual, what their original intake is and what type of lifestyle they engage. I have seen it many times that if you go over in calorie range or nutrients proteins are best. - by HUNGRYWOMAN2
