The monounsaturated fats in avocados have been found to lower “bad” LDLs. They have vitamin C and Beta Carote & the Vitamin K in avocados also reduces inflammationne. Avocado has no cholesterol & raises the good cholesterol in your body. Pureed avocados can be frozen, but not guacomole.
Florida Avocados have less fat in them than California Avocados. 1/2 Avocado with 4 ounces of stuffed crabmeat, with mayo on a bed of lettuce is about 6 carbs. A great lunch with lots of good fats. Don't like crabmeat, stuff with chicken or tuna
