Ground flaxseed and cinnamon will help lower your blood sugar and your triglycerides. Try a daily breakfast shake with oatmeal, flaxseed, cinnamon, fruit (banana, apple, papaya, whatever) , water and skim milk in the blender. Tastes good and will definitely lower your numbers!

    Be careful! Cinnamon can be a stpmach irritant and if you have an ulcer, eating cinnamon may cause pain. I know this from personal experience. - by WEIGHDOWN8
