Ground flaxseed and cinnamon will help lower your blood sugar and your triglycerides. Try a daily breakfast shake with oatmeal, flaxseed, cinnamon, fruit (banana, apple, papaya, whatever) , water and skim milk in the blender. Tastes good and will definitely lower your numbers!

I found since using cinnamon and chromium supplement my blood sugar has straightened out and the numbers are much better.

I just recently 2 months ago start using flaxseed and wheat grem. If I think I'm going to stop by McDonald's and pick up one of their oatmeals; I will ground some flaxseed and put some wheat germ in a baggy and add it to my oatmeal.

Be careful! Cinnamon can be a stpmach irritant and if you have an ulcer, eating cinnamon may cause pain. I know this from personal experience.

oatmeal and fruit. my recipe for blood sugars over 200. why not add some protein instead. I eat eggs instead.

I HAVE BEEN DOING THE FLAXSEED FOR A YEAR BLOOD SUGAR IS GOOD BUT SO FAR TRIGLYCERIDES WILL NOT BUDGE. ANOTHER LIPID IS GOING TO BE DRAWN TOMORROW SO I WLL KNOW BETTER THEN.
