Mustard For Leg Cramps

I know it sounds crazy, but eating some plain old yellow mustard when you get a leg cramp will relieve that cramp in a matter of seconds. Don't ask me how it work but dip a teaspoon in the jar and eat about a half-inch worth from what sticks to the spoon will do the trick. Worked on a cramp that went from my toes to my groin and relieved it in about 10 seconds. Remarkable!

    i haven't heard of mustard, but pickle juice does it too !! thanks for sharing !!
RENIDAY1 10/30/2010 9:23:00 AM I remembered this one and low and behold had a leg cramp the other night at 4:o5 am. Could hardly walk to the kitchen it wa so painful. Took my 'medicine' by the time I got back to bed it was pretty much gone. WOW is all I can say.

    Hmmmm...I'll have to try this because I get woken up by horrible leg cramps that just won't go away.

    That is a new one for me, but I will try it for sure, I need all the help I can get, I do the tonic water, and it helps some, actually I try what I hear about, some good some not so good. THanks

    this is a pretty cool trick. thanks, i will keep this in my mental remedy and use it on my husband who sometimes gets cramp due to dehydration.

    My Doctor suggested low calorie Tonic Water. Apparently the quinine helps. I've been getting intense cramps daily - so thanks everyone for you suggestions.

    I use apple cider vinegar with honey. It could be the acid that relieves the leg cramps. I do suffer from them a lot because I hike every chance I get and sometimes it is daily.
