I always keep veggies washed and cut up in the fridge. If my kids want something to eat right before dinner because they are "starving", I never tell them no, I tell them they my have some veggies. I know that this snack won't ruin their meal and if they don't "feel" like eating veggies they must not be that hungry. Also, if they don't eat as much for dinner at least I know they have something healthy in them!

I fill up on fruits and veggies. If I want something sweet I eat fruit. If I'm starving I eat veggies which are filling. If I eat a salad I dip my fork in the salad dressing instead of pouring all those extra calories on the salad. I weigh and measure everything. this helps me to keep a check on portion control.

To remind myself to eat more fruit... delicious Fruit sprawling all over the screen! Found an awesome picture that makes me want to eat veggies, I use it when I don't find myself eating enough veggies. When my body is craving exercise, but I just can't get myself to do it... I encourage myself with pics that inspire me. To remember to drink more water, a pic of a refreshing glass of water.
I like to puree veggies or fruits and sneak them into baked goods, mashed potatoes(pureed cauliflower) and in turkey burgers to add flavor. I also add to smoothies to get my intake of fruits and veggies. My son doesn't know that he is eating veggies and doesn't complain.
Just being sneak does pay off. We get more veggies and fruits in our diets.
