Make A Sandwich With Less Calories But Tastes The Same

When I want a sandwich, I cut the slice of bread in half to make 2 full size-looking THIN slices. Then I toast them on my panini maker and then put lot of fillings in it :) Same taste and same feel, but it is only 1 slice. For whole grain bread that saves you about 120 calories for the sandwich.

When you use SMALLER bread slices, not only will there be LESS CALORIES in the slices you use, but you'll pile less sandwich ingredients between them! That means less calories from the bread AND less calories from the sandwich filling. If you're into this, I LOVE Pepperidge Farms 7-grain Lite bread (orange packaging) because it tastes great, especially toasted.
